#14 – Plantaris Muscle
No, plantaris muscle doesn’t have to do anything with plants. Plantaris muscle is a muscle found in our legs. However, not everyone has it. Only the “chosen ones” have it, roughly 9 percent of people have this muscle that pretty much doesn’t do anything on their legs.
However, the plantaris muscle would definitely have a function if we were primates. It would help us grasp various things with our feet. Scientists believe that this muscle is another proof of evolution, just like Darwin’s point and preauricular sinus.
