It is always better to perform intense exercises or even weight training several hours before going to the bed. By doing this, you will rev up your metabolism. Once you hit the sack several hours after doing intense exercises, your metabolism will get a boost while your body repairs itself from exercise.
Keep in mind that your metabolism won’t get a boost if you don’t get enough sleep. This is why you should be careful of what you eat before sleep.
