#3 – Tuberculosis
Tuberculosis is a serious bacterial disease that infects the respiratory tract. The disease is caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is an airborne disease which means you’ll get infected with it if you breathe in its particles.
Symptoms of TB include fever, night sweats, bloody sputum, chronic cough, chest pain, and weight loss. Only in 2014, 9.6 new cases of TB were reported, out of which 1.5 million were fatal.
