#11 – Dysentery
Dysentery didn’t only kill people on the famous Oregon Trail. It’s still a dangerous disease that can be found in developed countries, let alone Third World countries. We can define Dysentery as a serious form of gastroenteritis.
The disease is followed by symptoms such as stomach cramps, painful diarrhea with mucus or blood in it, nausea, and fever. Dysentery is either caused by a virus or bacteria. It should be treated because it can spread to other organs and cause serious issues and lead to inevitable death.
