#14 – Arthritis
How can we define arthritis the easiest way? Well, we can easily define it as an extremely painful inflammation of various joints that is sometimes unbearable. Arthritis isn’t caused by viruses or bacteria. It’s important to mention that arthritis was one of the first diseases known to the humankind. Do we have to mention that this disease was found in Egyptian mummies?
There are a lot of misconceptions revolving around arthritis, but the most popular one is that it is an “old people’s disease.” That’s wrong because young people can get arthritis, but that’s extremely rare. There’s no cure for the condition, but there are medications that can ease the unbearable paint caused by it.
