#15 – Meningitis
Meningitis is another brain infection in a row. However, this brain infection is much worse and serious than Encephalitis, a disease closely related to it. We can define Meningitis as an infection of the brain’s lining. The disease can be caused by various culprits, including bacteria, fungi, parasites, viruses, and lupus. There’s different treatment for each cause of Meningitis which basically means that Meningitis caused by lupus isn’t treated the same as Meningitis caused by parasites.
Symptoms of Meningitis include sudden high fever, severe headaches, stiff neck, light sensitivity, difficulty walking, seizures, confusion, and a loss of appetite. The worst type of Meningitis is the one of bacterial origin because it brings a painful death if not caught early.
