#23 – Danakil Desert
The whereabouts of this desert are in East Africa. Okay, let’s be more precise. This desert spreads on the territory of northeast Ethiopia, northwest Djibouti, and southern Eritrea. Now, the question is, why is the Danakil desert one of the most dangerous and hostile places on the planet we live on? Well, Danakil Desert is home to hundreds of volcanoes and life-threatening geysers that spit extreme heat and dangerous toxins.
Daytime temperatures in this desert are 50 °C (122 °F) on average but can go higher than that.
