#20 – Dennis Rader
Dennis Rader committed 10 murders in Kansas between the 1970s and the 1990s. Being obsessed with notoriety, he was sending a series of bizarre and taunting letters to the local police in Wichita under the acronym “BTK” which stood for “Bind, Torture, and Kill.”
“Bind, Torture, and Kill” was actually Rader’s method of murdering because he would first bound his victims, torture them with various tools and in the end, he would kill them. The “BTK” murderer disappeared without a trace in 1988, but got captured in 2005.
